Abertay
Comedy Night 2 - THE SEQUEL
With the success of our first comedy night we decided that
it may just be worth doing another one. Thursday 22nd of November
will host another great night of laughter to
Liquid at Abertay Students Union. Back by popular demand
will be our compere Ben Darcy. Those who were present last
month will have witnessed how hilarious Ben can be and how he can
get the audience going, if you weren't there (shame on you!) then
you'd better come on Thursday and bring a spare pair of pants as
I'm sure you'll get wet with laughter.
To
fill up the bill, Ben's found some friends, he's bringing top open
mic spot Matt Black who has been well received on the circuit
in the short time he's been going. Also we'll be joined by top act
Colin Ramone who's now a headline act at one of Scotland's
premier comedy clubs, The Stand, where he is presently co-ordinating
and writing a new sketch night. But topping off the bill is a personal
favourite of mine Alan Miller. A hit from his first open
spot in March 1996, Allan moved from cult to compere at The Stand
in Edinburgh by November 1997. His weekly show sells out year-round
and he has been travelling further a field - from Aviemore to London
- with hilarious results.
So can you afford to miss it this time. Tell all your friends,
bring your mother, call in the neighbours to watch the cat - Abertay
Comedy Night is going to be huge. Only
£2 entry and drinks offers all night (£1
a drink) this will be a night to remember. Doors open
just after 9. See you there.
